I am not a traveler. I only travel when I have the budget.

It's been almost five years since the last time i created this online journal. At first, I thought I would never get back to writing stories about my thoughts on everything but hey there I am back! My life has been a roller coaster ride upon getting my degree. Been to two jobs for the past four years in different corners of Manillaa.   Well , now that I am about to go on leave in a month with no plans of returning to my corporate job (it’s actually a resignation) I am hella free again to write everything about anything! But before I start writing again, let me first thank my former company for being the most understanding and loving employer I ever met in fact I have written this entry during office hours so thank you :) Kidding aside, I’ve learned and earned so much from this company that saying goodbye made me think a million times. To my bosses, thank you for patience, professional and personal advice that no amount of money could ever match that of yours. Big shout-out to

Map Project

Beinvinido to my blog again! So I was actually busy all this week finishing my academic projects and other research papers. Part of the requirements in Cartography class is to create a map of your choice and I have decided to create something that could  show the relationship between average life expectancy and average income. I wonder if ever high-income provinces generally have longer life expectancy considering vast resources they have to pay for medical fees. I worked hard to come up with these maps so I am now giving you the opportunity to come closer and take a look at my map project! I like to hear your comments below. Enjoy,

First Map Map Created (Updated!)

Hola! Hey friends, i have created my first map! As a beginner, I am very aware of my limitations in cartography. However, allow me to show you my first ever "masterpiece". This is land-use map of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. UP LAND-USE MAP I have improved the layout, you better take a look.

Reviving Pokemon Saga!

I have tried several emulator apps to run NDS games on my android phone but none of them succeeded in rendering a lag-free gaming experience. I tried searching and reading several recommended emulator apps from different sites but to no avail. You might be wondering how desperate I am to to this game so let me tell you a short history of how this device got me really hooked. Gameboy was the most popular and sought after gadget during my gradeschool. It was also a sign of class and affluence as only few could afford  owning it.  My good cousin owns a unit and he used to visit us every weekend to hang out with. Unfortunately, he would not allow me to borrow it because he too is busy defeating that freakin Ratata. HAHA. So moving on I decided to work and earn at young age by sewing cloths so I could be able to buy a unit for myself and be officially part of the latest craze in the town. Eventualy my hardwork paif off and I was able to but one for myself.  The sentimental value I have with

Revisiting Taytay

As you may have known, I always travel back and fort between Diliman and Taytay. Moving around for an average of three hours everyday, three hours of air pollution, traffic, lack of jeepneys, flood, name it. But, being raised in this chaotic-yet-vibrant town, I can't think of leaving or withdrawing permanently from   this place which have molded and shaped my identity. Actually, sometime in April last year, I checked in to a boarding house to reduce my frequent late arrivals in my morning class. Unfortunately, I never finished the boarding contract and decided to leave after a month. The caretaker did not get furious at me, however, I was unable to refund my advance payment. (Too stupid!). Anyway, going back to to my hometown, I think  "homesickness"  played well  which was driven by my childhood memories, the people, the food and of course my family. For the past years, Taytay has gained a substantial set of stereotypes which include  "the haven of criminals an

Android for just Php 999 or $23!

It appears like Cherry Mobile has not stopped itself from bombarding cheap android phones. Starting today until Sunday, customers could avail a smartphone for as low as Php 999 or $23. However, I am very curious about how smart this phone gets considering the questioned product quality of the cellphone maker. (But so far I have not experienced any flaws with my CM Flare). Other noteworthy deal is the Cherry Mobile Blaze which sells for $93 or Php 3999, Php 2000 less from its original Php 6499 tag. The said phone packs a massive 4.7 inches screen, giving you a great viewing experience. Head to SM Southmall now!

iPhone 5C leaked photos!

Seems like Apple is running out of time to officially introduce its new budget phone as leaked images of the iPhone 5C have scattered over the net. The features and specifications are turning clearer and clearer recently, with several pictures allegedly showing the new iPhone look. Rumor has it that it will be introduced in September 10 alongside with iPhone 5S. For those who are still wondering what iPhone 5C is all about, simply put it as Apple's direct contender in battling Samsung mid-range line-up as it offers plastic cover configuration and other specs yet to be confirmed. However, what is clear though is that this device is cheaper compared with the standard iPhones. You might be intrigued about how this device looks like so I have downloaded them for you, check them out! Credits to mobilissimo.ro   and SonnyDickson
